Word of Victory Church
Word of Victory began over 20 years ago with leadership passionate for revelation from God and a pursuit for His presence. Over the years we have developed a strong prayer foundation which has empowered us to see signs, wonders and miracles.
We are an energetic congregation that firmly believes that all things are possible with God. Our praise and worship service is filled with enthusiasm for all that God has for us.
The Word of God is ministered under anointing that changes lives and imparts the power of The Blessing God intended for man. At Word of Victory we are excited about God and it shows!
Pastor Jerry and Trudy have been the Senior Pastors at Word of Victory for nearly 25 years. What began as a small Youth Ministry 30 years ago, quickly grew into a ministry for all ages. Together they minister the uncompromised Word of God with simplicity and anointing.
Pastor Jerry’s fun, illustrative sermons make the Word of God simple to apply to everyday life. Pastor Trudy’s straight forward teaching gives fresh revelation and insight into God’s Word. Both minister with strong excitement for the Word and enthusiasm for His presence.
What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason.
I Peter 1:23-25;
II Timothy 3:15-17
We believe the triune Godhead is comprised of three separate and distinct personalities: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that salvation is found by expressing and placing our faith in Jesus and what He did for us on the cross. We believe that Jesus, on the third day, rose from the dead and is coming again.
We believe the ordinance of water baptism should be observed, as commanded in the Scriptures, by all who have repented and in their hearts believe on Christ as Savior and Lord. In so doing, they declare to the world that they have died with Jesus and that they have also been raised with Him to walk in newness of life.
Holy Spirit Baptism
All believers are entitled to and should expect the Promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
We believe the full consummation of the Baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service.
We believe that God wants you prosperous in every area of your life.
